Mon 6th Sep - Crown presents closing arguments
The jury in the Scott Watson murder trial had been told that the evidence is too strong for the lone yachtsman seen with Ben Smart and Olivia Hope when they disappeared to have been anyone other than the accused.
The Crown is presenting its closing arguments in the 12 week trial.
Prosecutor, Paul Davison, QC, says former water taxi driver Guy Wallace has identified the lone man as probably being Scott Watson.
He says Olivia Hope's sister has also given a description of the man having a receding hairline, similar to the accused's.
Mr Davison says although Guy Wallace has described dropping the pair off at ketch, he would not have had much time to notice how many masts it had.
